Fur Novalis is a bangle and brooch made of 14ct gold and blue pigment.
Blumenbeet I & II are 2 brooches made of brass gold-plated, copper and enamel.
This project and competition was launched by the German Novalis Society in 2000/2001 to remember the 250th anniversary of the death of German poet and writer of the Romantik movement Friedrich von Hardenberg alias Novalis.
My jewellery is not about interpreting Friedrich von Hardenberg in a piece of work, but about observing the 'side effects'. The bed of blue flowers at Novalis' house led me to my work. Für Novalis was shortlisted.
